Women's 9-hole Golf Group
Welcome to the Salem Golf Club and the Women’s 9-Hole Golf Group! We’re a charismatic group
of women, dedicated to playing the game of golf and having a bit of fun while we’re at it. While we
focus on golf, we also value the friendships we make, and the social connection golf provides us
with during our time on the course
The Women’s 9-Hole group welcomes players of all ages and abilities, so if you’re new to the
game, or you’ve been swinging a club for years, we hope you’ll consider joining us. We promise
that you’ll love the course, the game, and especially the company!

2024 Season
Our season typically beings in April and continues through the month of October. Play is on
Wednesday mornings with groupings beginning at approximately 8:30 am. Once you sign up,
your name will be added to the email list, and you’ll receive all communications regarding group
play, tournaments, clinics, and events.
Commitment
The group plays every Wednesday morning, but you’re under no obligation to play every week.
Most players sign up a week in advance following Wednesdays round of golf. You can also
sign up anytime during the week at the clubhouse (up to the day of play), or by calling the Pro
Shop directly.
Clinics and Lessons
Salem Golf Club provides players with access to a large driving and chipping range as well as a
beautiful putting green located just outside the clubhouse. In addition, there are two on-site golf
pros’ available for private and group lessons. For a small fee, the Women’s 9-Hole Group
partners occasionally with the Club’s pro’s, to offer golf clinics in small group settings. If you join,
you’ll be notified in advance of any organized clinics.
Membership Levels and Costs
*Primary Membership: $76 for the season – includes $41 for Oregon Golf Association (OGA)
dues enabling you to establish a handicap.
*Associate/Dual Membership: $35 for the season – membership without handicap or dual club
membership where handicap is with the other club.
*Social Membership: $10 for members who don’t play golf but want to stay involved.
Regular green fees are paid each day of play. Discount cards are available for purchase at the Pro
Shop. The 9-Hole Group is a blend of walkers and riders. Carts are available at the Pro Shop.
