Women's 9-hole Golf Group
Join our Women’s 9-hole Group dedicated to playing golf in a fun and casual setting at the Salem Golf Club.
We focus on golf, friendship and fun. We hope you would like to join us. Please see the information below to help answer questions you might have.
Q. What skill level is required to play?
A. We welcome golfers of all levels. Don’t have a set handicap? Not to worry. During play you’ll get your handicap level set if you don’t already have one. It helps with your scores each week.
Q. When does the 2020 season start, and long how long is the season?
A. Our season usually begins in April and continues through October 30th. Play is on Wednesday mornings with grouping beginning at 8:30 am.
Q. Do I need to commit to each week?
A. It isn’t necessary to play each week, although the more you play, the more fun you have! Most players sign up a week in advance following day’s play. You can sign up anytime during the week at the clubhouse up to the day of play, or by call the Pro Shop.
Q. Are there opportunities to get help with my game?
A. Salem Golf has a driving range, and a golf professional is available for lessons. Occasionally, golf clinics are offered in a small group setting.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. There are several levels of membership with most members paying full dues of $70.00. This includes $35.00 for your Oregon Golf Association Dues which will enable you to establish a handicap, receive OGA publications and special golf offers.
Regular green fees are paid each day of play.
